Members and friends of Black Cape participated in the Face of America 2019 charity ride to benefit World T.E.A.M Sports. Face of America is a 110 mile bike ride from Arlington, Va to Gettysburg, PA that raises money for adaptive sports. It's a great event raising money for an important cause. Our team, Team Adaptive, had the second overall highest fundraising of any team coming in at $50,000! Day 1 saw great cycling conditions, but day 2 brought heavy rains which caused the ride to be cut short of the 55 mile daily goal. Despite the rain, spirits were high and everyone is looking forward to the next Face of America ride in 2020!
