The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation and Black Cape are pleased to announce a new multi-year scholarship, the Black Cape Scholarship for Women in Geospatial Intelligence. Each summer the scholarship will be awarded to one female student studying geospatial, geography, geospatial technology, or a related field at the undergraduate level with the intent to work for the U.S. Government.
"When Abe Usher and I first worked together in U.S. Special Operations and within the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, many of our colleagues were talented women who really led the way, in both technology and analysis. Through the Black Cape scholarship, we hope to attract more talented women to the geospatial field and create great career opportunities for them to work within the U.S. Government." |
