An object based production (OBP) capability to meet specific governmental customer requirements, Carrera is designed to both understand the hierarchical nature of military orders and tasks as well as supervise the development of future operations across the military combatant commands (COCOMs) and subordinate commands to meet mission requirements. Carrera provides a crucial OBP capability for operations planning that doesn’t have a parallel across the US Government (USG). It allows users to relate mission concepts to higher level lines of operation, lines of effort, and campaigns, showing all of these relationships on a single pane of glass. Carrera takes future operations planning out of sharedrive, email, and powerpoint and integrates it into a single application to serve users and the government. It greatly enhances and streamlines the intersection of intelligence, planning, and operations. Carrera is deployable on a VM or using a Kubernetes Cluster.

  • File Storage Integration: Black Cape’s Vault application is integrated within Carrera, allowing campaigns through future operations to have sharable and collaborative movement on required planning documents outside of standard sharepoint or sharedrive resources.
  • Configurable Map Layer: All geospatial and temporal information within Carrera may be displayed and filtered on a configurable map layer, allowing an increased understanding of relationships across all entities.
  • Hierarchical Relationship of Objects: Carrera provides a nesting relationship between different levels of objects based on doctrine and organizational requirements, ensuring developed products meet strict standard operating procedures configurable on each deployment.
  • Built on Open Source: Reduces costs and vendor lock-in.
  • Modular: Built from the ground up as modular building blocks using Docker and based on the microservices concept. Components of the architecture can stand alone or be integrated and orchestrated as needed to fulfill mission requirements.
